GOD's FORMULA
A man said to the universe:
"Sir, I exist!"
"However", replied the universe,
"The fact has not created in me a sense of obligation."
Stephen Crane
The search for a divine formula and the question of what holds the world together at its core occupies Tortelli & Wurm in their new dance piece GOD’s FORMULA. Based on the book “The God’s Equation – The Search for the Theory of Everything” by string theorist Michio Kaku and Kepler’s Rudolphine Tables, Tortelli & Wurm dive into the universe together with their six dancers in search of more understanding of it, knowing from the beginning that one question will raise a multitude of these and that the search for the “highest form of symmetry” will be more like falling and free tumbling.
